Thanks to our generous donors, we have finally drilled our own well (or borehole, as they are called in Kenya). This single achievement was a major step in continuing our quest to become self-sustaining. Not only has a well eliminated the need for us to buy water, we now have access to clean water for our children.
To fully realize the potential that a well can provide to achieve our goal of sustainability, we need to pipe water to the various locations on the property where it is needed most, such as to the home, the greenhouse, a roadside kiosk where water can be sold to the community, and the school.
Having easily accessible water is critical for our continued growth and sustainability. Would you consider helping with this important need?
